Herballife, anyone heard of them?

Looking around for a healthier lifestyle I found these guy's: http://www.herbalife.co.uk/

Does anyone know about them or have you used their products?

The don't touch them with it.

Not much more than a pyramid selling scam which takes advantage of people prepared to flog snake-oil to their relatives.

All IMHO of course. (Brother in Law got involved for a while - claimed he was making a fortune, claimed he was feeling amazing on it...but then suddenlt got out of it and never really answered the question of "if it was so great and making you so much money why aren't you still involved").

Google "Herbalife scam" and have a read.

ETA: drink less beer, eat less fatty food, do a spot of exercise. Not as easy as popping a 'magic pill' but considerably more effective!

What he said. I had a friend selling it yearsssss ago and he was honest with us and said its pyramid scheme from the moment he got involved. I think he was successful as he got into it quite early on. I've seen other friends get involved with other pyramid schemes far too late in the pyramid and end up out of pocket. I always feel sorry for them as the chances are they were never in a position to invest the money in the first place.

They call it multilevel marketing. It's not a scam. It's just not a great way of earning money. As for the products, who knows. It's gotta be healthier than pork pies.

I tell you what. I will sell you 10 pork pies. You can buy them at £2 each and have the rights as an agent to sell them for £2.10 (or you can eat them). If you introduce a friend as another agent, you can sell them to him for £2.05 and pocket the 5p as profit, then he can sell them at £2.10 (or eat them). If you want to sign up more friends, you get more money. I can sell you a pork pie kit comprising 50 small, medium and large pork pies and a flip chart for £500.
