Hi all
My wife has bronchitis and was prescribed antibiotics by the GP. Unfortunately, she developed an allergic reaction to these and was advised to stop taking them. With Bank Holidays etc, getting to the GP hasn't been an option and while we're hopeful of getting an appointment tomorrow, we're not banking on it. Does anyone know of anything or have any suggestions (remedies, old wives tales etc - she'll try anything!)that can help with the coughing fits?
Thanks

I get it once or twice a year.
I find that if I go to bed at the start of it, for a day or so, it tends to clear quicker.
Hot baths or hot toddies etc can help loosen it.
Not much else shifts it until it runs its course.
Avoid driving if possible, because coughing fits can cause dizziness etc.
