Afternoon all.

Anyone do this as a hobby / keep fit regime?

I've been thinking about it recently, but i'm not so sure.

Reason being is i seem to be collecting a series of injuries, one of which is torn ligaments in my foot / ankle.

This makes thai boxing a bad idea, doesn't it?

David.

I used to do this, my club was full contact pretty early on in the training with an emphasis on training to fight. Loved it, but it is easy to pick up injuries. Depends if you want to fight or just to train.

Go along one night see if you like it- nothing to lose.

If you've got torn ligaments in your foot/ankle you shouldn't really be capable of doing any exercise other than

sitting on a stationary bike.Certainly not kickboxing.
