So i get a phone call this morning from the ex who has had to take the little man (7y/o) to dentist as top lip all swollen from abcess, dentist gave 2 options antibiotics or pull it,had to have his other front tooth pulled last year around same time,so they get it pulled 5 injections and out it comes, wee man ok until told they cant have the tooth as it is health and safety policy as tooth has blood on it (was ok last year as he got it home with him)so then the wee man gets more upset over that that getting tooth pulled.

where is it going to end with health and safety policy

utter F***ing Boll*cks

I had a tooth out the other day and they asked me if I wanted it.

Being 24 I said yes and put under my pillow. smile

Please follow up your letter with one from "The Word Association of Toothfairies" (T.W.A.T) complaining of loss of profits.

The world has indeed gone mad. We have a thread about a child who is upset because he couldn't keep a pulled tooth.

Tell him to boy up. smile

Dental students are no longer allowed to take away teeth for study or practice as they are classed as "bodyparts" and since the baby-organ scandal have been restricted!

Unfortunatly no, but the tooth seems to have gone missing. It's either down the back of the bed or that theving tooth fairy mugged me off. I'm swaying towards the latter.

Pull out another tooth. Set a trap.

I was an expecting an example of where 'the world had gone mad' (as per the thread title).

This is obviously a scam. The dentist is pocketing the teeth and putting them under his pillow at night. If he does four extractions a day and the tooth fairy gives him 50p a pop, that's a tenner a week the bd is fiddling.

Please write a deadly serious letter proposing that the dentist is doing the above.

It had blood on it... are they not aware that it was HIS blood, so there is unlikely to be any serious health risk to him?

Sounds a bit crazy, but thats the way of the world it seems.
