Hi all, for the last 4 or maybe 5 days I have had a very sore throat but with no other side effects that you would normally expect from a cold such as a blocked nose or loosing your voice etc.

What is this likely to be?

It sounds like you have Grade A, Triple X, Twin Turbo, V12, Industrial Strength, XXL, Mapped Man Flu. Do NOT go near any women because while your symptoms are mild for you, as a man, it would kill any females within 5 yards of you.

Do you not have anything to do other than communicate on a forum? Do you even have any (real) friends?

It's a common side effect of eating a halal kebab.

Me? I'd rather stay indoors. Lots of yucky people out there. Safer inside.

If you had your window open at 120-130MPH in a NSL area, the cold air could give you a sore throat.

is it pain when swallowing? has your voice gone hoarse? it's likely it'll just go away in the next few days. if not, then see your GP. nothing to worry about just yet.
