Central Serous Retinopathy

Anyone here suffered from this?
I've had a diagnosis of this from an opthalmologist after a referral from my optician. My symptoms were a comparatively sudden blurring in my right eye (much like the distortion you'd get from looking at something through a sheet of glass with ice on it) which concerned me enough to see an optician.
The cause of CSR is blood pressure related, and apparently 30-50 yr old type A personality men are text book sufferers. It's caused by a leaking of fluid behind the retina and, whilst laser surgery is an option in some cases, it apparently spontaneously sorts itself out after about 6 months.
The diagnosis was actually a bit of a relief in the end; a letter from an optician with sinister sounding symptoms + Google minus any medical knowledge whatsoever = all sorts of awful scenarios envisaged such as MS, a brain tumour or macular degeneration. Take your pick of which is the best option of those three...
The opthalmologist tested my blood pressure there and then, and has advised me to see the doc to get it tested properly (it was 160/100, but I was really stressed and worked up about what the cause might have been). Basically though, I'm taking it as an early warning and making some lifestyle changes to try and bring my blood pressure down.
There must be a few other type A 30-50 personalities on PH (in fact, it might be quicker to ask who isn't ) - so, anyone got any experience or advice?
