My housemate is hooked on Vinegar. She covers almost any food with it and drinks whatever's left.
Anything pickled is consumed with great gusto, then she will drink any remaining vinegar as though it was tea!
She will get through a 600 ml bottle every week plus the afformentioned pickles etc.
My question (finally) is; can this do her any harm in the short or long term? Is it going to affect her digestive system?

Assuming no congenital weakness or disease of the digestive tract, vinegar is probably alright(there are quack cures that use vinegar; there are whole books dedicated to the subject), but the pickle juice isn't a good plan as it usually has weird stabilisers and other E numbers. I'm in a poor position to pontificate, I munch gherkins like they're peanuts.
