what do you guys n gals think of the good old jump rope ?
i am convinced this is the best form of cardio !
today i did 10 x 2 min rounds with a 30 sec break between each round.

Here we go again. hehe

It's good for agility and timing, I guess. As for best cardio, not sure. You can't improve the difficulty unless you do it in a stream or in a bucket of custard.

I used to do a lot of it, skipping, years ago. I made up a skipping board, out of a 4' square of 3/4" plywood, with a 1" batten nailed underneath all the way round. This flexes a bit and makes it a lot easier on the legs/calves etc.

I've been told it if far more beneficial than jogging, running etc.

Kinda boring though if you do it indoors, I guess, but I used to do it out on the deck of the ship.
