Has anyone tried/learnt this breathing technique for asthmatics? I gather it's quite popular in the former Soviet countries, but there's very little information about what it actually entails. I'd be quite interested in the views of anyone who has attended a course, or has any other experience, good or bad.

I haven't yet found anything through google with exact details of the actual technique. The online videos are more about selling the benefits of it. Though perhaps I'm expecting more detail than is necessary. I may try the books.

Well, I'm not sure what you're looking for as that explains the technique so you can do it on your own. If you want scientific research then you could contact the various organisations who promote the technique I guess.
