I'm getting myself in such a state I actually think I might have a stroke. Help!

I have headache every single day, from waking, gets worse about 2pm, sometimes nauseous too. I'm short tempered, weepy and generally can't be bothered doing anything useful.

Sorry to hear that. Has it just come on recently, or have you noticed that it's always the same time of year?

I get cluster headaches in spring and autumn that are extremely painful but go away with time. Admittedly they don't last all day as it's more of a searing pain.

Could it be migraine, if you're feeling sick at the same time? Any light sensitivity?

Worse in the last few months, I've got a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders too, I think is related, sometimes I think I get some "flashing" in my vision.

Everything gets on my nerves recently and makes me feel worse.

i get these. i'm also a former migraine sufferer, but doubt they're related. mine tend to come on like yours, when everyone and his mate is acting the ahole and i'm stressed.

you can get tablets specifically for tension headaches, but where is your pain? mine tend to be temples and the area behind my ears. i find tesco ibuprofen with lysine works well.

drink plenty of water [sugar free redbull for me] and a sauna/steam room can work wonders. telling everyone to fk off always makes things better.

Thanks Shirt, that sounds pretty much like me, temples, behind ears and across my forehead.

I hate the boring bullst people spout at me and prying into my life, I think I'm in the wrong job..... I'm going to live in a cave and have Waitrose deliver hampers

just be sure to watch what you eat. it's easy when under the weather/stressed to rely on takeaway or other prcessed guff. only makes it worse ime.

best cure is, of course, a holiday.

If you walked into the pharmacy asked for advice with the above symptoms, then I would send you straight to your GP.

I am going to see my GP, luckily they do evening clinics, I can't be at work all day feeling rubbish. It's making me worse.

works for me. i am quite immune to the effect of caffeine. i think the electrolytes help. or some such. usual headache routine is red bull & tablets at work, bath & brush teeth as soon as i get home, then a snooze.

there is an excellent cure for any strength of headache, but i doubt a doctor would recommend it wink
