Hello all,

Snip reversal , , , ,

How long before the swimmers are active and available for duty.

My story.

I discussed this with my local GP a few times, for the referal.
He gave me the names of 3 specialists in this field, at a private local hospital.
And suggested that Mr 'X' is the one to try and get the operation done by.
So, meets with Mr 'X' and has a chat, and a pre-exam.
He then askes me when I would like to attend.
He explains, I will arrive on the morning of the day, around 9.00 am, and 90% of the time, I will go home later that day, around 18:00pm.
He tells me most NHS specialists, will only join one tube up, however, as this is me paying, they will happily do both.
He explains, it is a general anaesthetic, but when it wears off, it will hurt.
So be warned.

So I picked a day, felt good about it, and before long, I was out for the count.
I woke up in the recovery room, feeling surprisingly good.
I was back in my ward bed in about 10 minutes.
No pain, , , ,
I think,, has he done any thing ?
So a peek down below, and I am wearing a pair of supports, and 'OH st' yes, the jobs been done.
After about an hour, Mr 'X' came to see me, and asked how I was, 'Great I replied'
Good he said, your two tubes were succsessfully joined, no worries, no issues.

All day, I lie in bed, just getting up for a pee, as asked by the nurse, all working, no blood in the pee.
They are happy, and I am happy.

Now, Mr 'X' gave me two sample jars, the first one for 3 months after the op, and the second for 6 months after the op.

So to the many guys who have had this reversal done, how long was it before you got your girl / woman / wife pregnant ?

I did read some where, that the swimmers ejaculated today, were made 3 months ago, ?
Any one else know any thing about this?

Sounds like fun!

Did they give success rates for swimmer revival?

It's just that we know a couple who went through this and it didn't work, 3 goes of IVF later they are nearly 15k down and no baby....gutting really.

Good luck with it anyway.

You're lucky the reversal went fine. It's not guaranteed so congrats.

Yes, exactly,
Even though the specialist says 'it went fine, all rejoined' that still don't mean the swimmers will be present.

But we hope so.
