Firmly from the 'how long is a piece of string' kind of questioning, but how long should the effects of hypnotherapy last for after a session?

Do they need to be topped up? Do they actually work?

Just had my second session on Monday night and was just curious.

Might be worthwhile using the search if it's working before the usual numpties come on here saying it is bullst just because it didn't work on them.

From my understanding (I am not a professional), if you let yourself go then it can work; if you resist it, then it won't. As it's about reprogramming your mind (maybe the wrong choice of words), it can take time, hence the need for more sessions.

Thanks Darren. We we're PM'ing about this a couple of months back, but went with someone local in the end.

I had a session 3 years ago on a thursday night to quit smoking, all was going great so I didn't attend the second planned session. Needless to say I craved like mad friday morning and by friday lunchime was back on the cigarettes.

I swear to this day I was programmed to start again if I missed the session.
