I was driving back from the shops yesterday when I had a sneeze - not a huge, window-rattler, but I felt a slight twinge in my lower back. Today that has turned into a bit of a dull pain if I bend around the hips.
The thing is that on Tuesday night I have to drive for two hours to get to a work site, do my work, (which will include a bit of lifting), and then drive back home, and because of the nature of this job I can't take any pain medication. So I'm wondering if I should take tomorrow off work and just rest my back so it's ok for Tuesday, or go into work as usual, (involving a 3 hour train/tube journey each way)? If I was just in the office all week I'd go in but the site work is very important and if I can't be there then it will have to be postponed.
I'm assuming I've just pulled a muscle and if I rest it it will sort itself out - will one day of rest be enough?

Buy some heat pads from Sains or Tesco.Cost about £10.

They emit gentle heat through the day and relax the muscle.

No need for time off or pk's.
