Calorie and exercise counter websites

Hi Guys,
Need some help with losing weight, and i know my biggest problem is not really having an idea of how many calories i am consuming each day (ie the "nibbles" that i bet makes up the extra weight")
Quite prepared to measure every mouthful to find out just how much i'm eating- worried that its WAY more than i think.
Have the exercise bit in hand- aiming to lose 6 stone over the next 12 months- a tall order!

I use www.sparkpeople.com You have to enroll, free, and log your stuff in daily.
It will advise you how much to eat to get to a certain weight in a certain time frame, but it will not let you go crazy and try to lose 10lbs a week or any silly stuff.
I've lost 35 lbs in the last nine months, though I am nowhere near as diligent as I should be.

Registerd on sparkpeople a while ago, but find the US-centric bit slightly difficult!
For a race of predominantly fat barstewards, they seem to have an odd idea of what a 'serving' is. One 'serving' of bread is half a slice. A 'serving' of cheese is the size of two dice.
Sitting at my desk all day I just use Excel.
I've got one sheet which is a list of foods with a second sheet that I simply add to every time I eat something to keep a running total of what I eat every day (clear the sheet each morning). I keep a note of my targets and so I can tell whether or not I should be aiming to get some more carbs or protein or whatever.

Do you have an accurate and logical-to-follow source of calories you can give me, for your foods? Sparkpeople tends to get a little odd with their food measurements, and it is a pretty fine line between getting it just right, starving needlessly, or packing the pounds back on.
if you have an iphone there is an app called myfitnesspal that you can use to keep track of your calorie intake etc. i believe its linked to a website, www.myfitnesspal.co.uk dont know if you can use the website without iphone app but may be worth looking at.
