Has anyone used this or have any experience of it?

My doctor has given me a tube of this yesterday to treat an old heel break (the Calcaneous bone) whilst we await the results of the Xrays. I'm meant to be putting it on 3 times a day but it is having absolutely no affect and my ankle appeared to be far more swolen than it normally is when I got up this morning.

The leaflet inside does list some side effects but having a quick look on the internet some folk have had quite a few reactions to it and I'm not sure whether it's worth using it or not - dizzyness, shortness of breath, rapid weight gain etc.

I'm going to use it for a few days and see whether I get anymore side effects and whether it starts to touch the pain and swelling or not.

I was given it for a bad shoulder, I found it did nothing for me, the tablets are better!

You can rub it on your other foot and get the same effect! Tablets are far better.

Last two times I've had pills with Diclofenic in them they've made me nauseous and I end up being limited to how many I can take before sicking them back up - hence the gel this time as my stomach doesn't have to injest it first.

I'm sure there is an anti-sickness pill you can have with it, ask your GP.

Have you taken it with a good amount of food?
