My best friends Daughter did tough guy in winter last year and decided that we both would do it, so myself and my best mate Michele entered in the summer tough guy (sunday 25th July), if you've never heard of tough guy then get onto youtube and search for it, it was the hardest but most rewarding if painful thing i've ever done, 4hrs 20mins solid running, jumping, crawling, climbing, electric shocks, mud (LOTs and LOTs of mud),water (VERY muddy water), nettles stings, pain and none stop adrenaline.

oooooooh dear!
Have you seen the clips of what it's like in January? you have to break the ice, hope you've booked a few days off work or being a student because you'll need it, my friends Daughter did it in the ice and was walking rather silly for about 4 days afterwards, me.....i'll do it again but in the nice English summer LOL

I did it in the early 90's....1ft of snow. When we all set off at the start it became a giant snowball fight! Soon became less fun!

I did Jan 2010, smashing ice before the event was fun snowing before and alittle during. I managed 2 hours 35 with no training, I was pleased with that as my mates that did train came in 45 and 55 mins later.

I could not beleive the effect going though the under water tunnels had, the cold really does screw your head for a while.

A mate and I did it this year. Was great fun and an excellent weekend, though I didnt think it was particularly tough. Also annoying getting stuck behind people walking up the hill sprint sections!
