Some of the NHS walk-in clinics have dentists that (I believe) you can just turn up at.

Antibiotics may help if it's an abscess. If it's a cracked or broken tooth, then it won't help and you might be better off with painkillers. Is it a throbbing, hot pain? If so, there's probably infection which probably means it's an abscess. See I used the word "probably" because I have no medical training... I mean, your head could have fallen off and there's me going on about abscesses. (If your head has fallen off, try duct tape.)

Toothache sucks, you have my simpathy. frown

Clove oil, an ice (freezer) pack, Bonjela (SP?) - The stuff you use when a baby is teething. Rinsing your mouth with really salty luke warm water helps too.

10 days is a long time to wait (pain and damage wise) if it is an abscess, maybe try the emergency dentist at your local hospital?
