Right I need the help of the PH doctors as I cannot get to the Surgery right now.
On Monday night I was bitten/stung 3 times by something, twice on my left leg and once on my right, all around the back of the knee.
One of the bits seems to be ok and isn't bothering me too much but the other two are.
They are red in the middle, then a yellowy ring surrounds them and then a much larger red area (this seems to be getting larger and redder). They are very itchy and getting sore (I am not scratching them at all).
The area around them is getting firmer to push.
I will try and get a photo of them up shortly.
Any help with these is seriously appreciated

If you get an insect bite DON'T scratch or touch it. Bathe it or soak quickly with cold water, or use an insect bite repellent (usually ammonia based smelling). Take a anti-histamine.
I became allergic to bites, pollen, etc etc a few years back having never suffered an allergy reaction in my life (now 60), so watch out!
So far this year I have been lucky.
Usually it's difficult to know what's bitten you. Sometimes you spot it, sometimes you can't. Horseflies usually leave a trickle of blood. Had a few of those, nasty.
But it's the reaction bites that are scary.
Here's my first.
Note at elbow a little bite.
Felt it, but took no notice. Went in Smiths to have a sneaky read of the motoring mags and leaning up to get mag I noticed the long streak of red moving as it tracked up my arm!!!!
It was Saturday, no quacks about so hurried to the nearest pharmacy. Quick call by the pharmacist, saw a specialist nurse and in no time I was driving back home quick with my double dose boxes of antibiotics.
Bugger me, about the same time the next year I got bit again in similar place and the same reaction. Then I got one on the other arm which swelled like a balloon.
Just unlucky.
Went to Cyprus and had just got in a lift in hotel, first day, bitten before lift doors opened!
