Does anyone know if HGH will help speed up recovery from injuries?

I'm desperate to shake off some long term tendon problems.

i personally wouldn't. see if you can get yourself something like this: http://www.springherb.co.uk/zheng-gu-shui-30.html

i used zheng gu shui for years, really good stuff IMO.

seriously good stuff. increases blood flow and is a million times better than deep heat cack. that, coupled with some treatment off someone like a physio should help. tendon recoveries are slow, their blood supply does leave a little bit to be desired.

There are quite a few different types of Chinese herbal medicines that seem to work. All smell funny and pretty cheap. Usually used by Chinese monks to heal fists after punching rocks. nuts Check out tiger balm, for starters.

i've tried tiger balm, whilst still a hell of a lot better than deep heat st, i prefer zheng gu shui.

ironically, it was introduced to me by my kung fu and kickboxing instructor hehe (no, he's not Chinese though!)

really good stuff! still got a tiny amount left in my bottle.

if you buy it....don't use on open cuts, and thoroughly wash your hands before going for a piss. hehe

rofl

My dad makes his own oil for sprains and bruises. Maybe he'll let me know the secret ingredients in his will.

yes

People who take HGH also take on a distinctive body shape and muscle definition.

Sure if you pump iron, probably do T and cut body fat.

OTOH Lance Armstrong allegedly did HGH for years and he stayed skinny.

I just thought it may help heal injuries faster. Just a short term thing of course.

I've got rotator cuff problems and they take AGES to heal. I don't think an ointment is gonna do anything; these are tendons deep in the shoulder underneath other muscles and tissues.

i know rotator cuff tendons (for infraspinatus, supraspinatus, subscaplaris and teres minor). in your original post you didn't say where. it could have been something more superficial such as achilles/calcaneal or your tendons for biceps femoris or semitendinosus (hamstrings).

you're 100% sure it's tendon problems? and you sure it's the tendons for all 4 of the rotator cuff muscles!!?? more likely to just be one (you said tendons...not quite sure what you mean...is it one or more?). if you know which, that will help you in terms of things you can do to aid recovery.

Those resistance bands are pretty good for rotator cuff injuries. By that, I don't mean Rage Against The Machine. I mean these kind of things:

NHS physios tend to give them out FOC if you have sessions with them, I understand.

What does his face look like? It makes bones grow. Big John Studds gaps betwene his eyes started to widen when he was on it. My gf knows a lad in her village who has had to shave down his elbows because they were starting to look like stabbing implements.

Anyone know if these things work?

IMO, OP needs to find out which muscle tendon it is that's damaged of his rotator cuff before trying any exercises (e.g. no point trying to train supraspinatus (abduction of arm for first 15 degrees or so) when it could be subscapularis for instance.

Oh, of course. I was hinting that he should seek help if he can't figure out what is damaged.

HGH is one of the few drugs that can act to somewhat rejuvenate the body, some organs anyhow. Elongation of forehead, feet, jaw bone really only results from prolonged use or excessive dosage. In the U.S HGH is offered to elderly people for it's many benefits, organs and bone density increase primarily.

Of course it is used extensively through top end sports. The fat loss and lean skeletal muscle weight increases can be amazing, particularly when used synergistically with other drugs. Although not a definitve answer to an injury, I can imagine based on what I know, administered correctly it may have some benefit. Rotator cuff issues should be dealt with specific physio though. A real weakness in the human body is the rotator cuff!
