How the hell do you get rid of a really bad one?

I'm currently lying in bed feeling sorry for myself after being in town for the first time in over 4 years and being litterally unable to see by the end of the night. Goddamnit my head hurts.

Your sympathies are welcomed biggrin

Come on PH take the piss and give me a laugh.

Have a slight problem with all of the above. I can't actually walk yet so can't get to shops as need to drive there, plus, trusting myself to cook right now wobblehehe

I hate the feeling of being dizzy, head spinning all round. And being hot, really hot, and thirsty, so thirsty you have to keep drinking water but it fills you up so you feel sick. So then you are lying in bed, head thumping and spinning, thirsty but full of water and way too hot, flushed in the face.

And then you're thinking "I'm fine, Im fine" when all of a sudden you feel really sick, I mean REALLY sick. And you feel the bile rising, your saliva glands start working overtime and then you're sick a little bit in your throat which you swallow down which just triggers a full on vom sesh.

Lucky you don't feel like that huh? All hot and nauseous.

I'm not actually at that stage yet, I think, I'm just still drunk, room spinning and head feels like it is about to explode, eyes are sore, so very very thirsty, saliva glands are like the sahara but I'm swearing like a peado in a playground.

I'm never drinking ever again laugh

Bit late now, but I always take two Anadin Extra and a pint of water when I get home and hangovers are minimal, if at all*

I find that not getting a hang over no matter what or how much I drink is the best way to deal with them........... Sorry about that.

I feel your pain Wor Al.

Had some friends over last night. The empty bottles tell the tale. One bottle of gin. Two bottles of tonic. 10 beers, and 8 bottles of red.

In bed at 3-30. My daughter was up for an hour at 4-30, and permanently at 7-30.

It is surely impossible that it is only twenty past one ?

In answer to your question fresh air, exercise, and hair of the dog. All may be necessary.

"If I survive this...I'll never drink again..." hehe

It's not surprising you feel so bad. So what can you do to feel better?

Simple. Start replacing the water and the nutrients you've lost. Sports drinks, basically water with electrolytes added, will do wonders.

Remember to avoid coffee and tea though - both diuretics which may just make your hangover worse!
