Been to the doc last night as every time I got up or moved the last few days I became dizzy and wanted to vomit. Diagnosed as having some sort of vertigo - imbalance of the inner ear or something - been given some tablets to take and told to rest - no driving, working, gym etc etc.

Anyone got any ideas of quick fixes or things I can do to reduce the effects or sick feeling, as I have a son to look after and need to eat??

Or anyone had this and know how long it will take to clear up?

Tablets should do the trick. What did they give you? What's the cause? I found betahistine worked a treat.

That's a coincidence! I've been on the same drug for three weeks for a suspected inner ear problem, so far not doing me any good except making me feel drowsy all the time. Have you read the data sheet? Prochlorperazine is also used for the treatment of schizophrenianuts

Tablets should do the trick, alternatively you could find someone who knows how to do the Epley manoeuvre which can help with BPPV. Usually found via an ENT specialist.
