It's a doddle mate, I got my op booked within a week, it only takes about twenty minutes and is pretty painless.
You can climb back on after two clear samples, unless you wear a welly of course then you can get straight back on
I got a fairly bruised sack but it wasn't sore at all, the only freaky thing was a bit of blood when I shot my load a couple of times just after the op as I wasn't expecting it!

Get yourself a few pairs of good fitting tightish boxers for after as it's supposed to help keep bruising to a minimum, also make sure you definitely want to get it as a reversal is 2k+ and not always successful!
Oh and the only difference I've noticed is the amount you spurt is decreased quite significantly, but the feeling isn't affected if you get my drift!?

there is a slight twist , he didn't think the 1st one after the snip was his , lots of arguing etc. kicked first wife out for sleeping around or so he thought , met a new bird who wanted a husband desperately , he thought he was firing blanks , fired one real one resulting in twins
