This struck me as a good question to ask the PH massive today as i waited for some help in Boots after taking a rather sizable chunk out of my thumb with a sergical scalpel.

Worst I have ever done was badly break my wrist. The knobbly bit on the top outside edge broke off and floated up into the back of my hand. looked pretty gross i must say.

Now- over to you.

Crushed my ankle playing football, ruined all the tendons and cartilage and it will never be the same again. The Doctor said it was far worse than a break and I was on crutches for a couple of months.

Even now a small ankle twist hurts for weeks.

I've blackened several nails with hammers, sliced fingers with Stanley knives, but my best was splitting my lower lip kneeing myself in the face playing footy(I was about 12); there was a lovely toothmark on my knee as well. All pretty mild stuff I'm afraid.

About 5 years ago, my dad was clipping sheep and throwing the rolled up fleeces into a trailer hitched to the back of the tractor, but unknown me there was a chain connecting the two sides to support sides when transporting gravel etc. So, I decided to jump about 2 metres down into the soft (at least i thought so) cargo. Cue me jumping landing on my thigh sideyways on the chain. Cried for 2 hours (was only 11) and was on crutches for 4/5 days because the muscles were so fked up. I still have a lump and trough in my leg. biggrin

Got a vertebrae permanently put out of alignment by a colossal oaf, whilst playing rugby. Had to have it fused and screwed to stop it shifting for the worse.

Nothing compared to some of the postings here.

Because I had a slight "overbite" as a kid, I was swimming one day underwater at a local pool, and swam up fast hitting my head on the railings round the side.

Bit a hole straight thrugh the area just below my bottom lip yikes

Tore my kneecap off..pivoted on a sheet of ice in the winter and slipped sideways. folded over and tore every thing that connected it. Staggeringly painful and took several months in a flexcast and crutches. Never completely strong afterwards.

Mine's fairly tame but I dislocated my thumb with a roof rack bungee cord, hooked it onto a tree in the garden and tried to pull it as far as I could, the branch snapped and the plastic hook smashed into my hand. I did manage to pop it back into place while I ran back inside though.

Bought a motocross bike because "I was Travis Pastrana" even though I had never ridden one before. Went like fk for 15mins hit a jump and landed on a pile of boulders.
Ripped my cruciate ligament off top and bottom, dislocated my shoulder, broke my collar bone and my elbow.

I soon realised "I wasn't Travis Pastrana"

I accidently nearly chopped my little finger off (cutting bread) and have a scar of about 60% of the circumfrence of the finger. I think that is the worse, as I can't see my liver hehe
