Swollen throat, argh ! litterally

Hi,

I've been having a bit of trouble eating, in that I enjoy my food but the glands in my throat swell up within seconds and remain swollen and painfull for about an hour or so then drop down to just uncomfortable. I do eat a lot of wheat based foods.

The swelling is very noticable, I turn from having a jaw line and a neck to one big mass.

Don't feel unwell otherwise.

Any ideas?

could be any number of things.
The purpose of your lymph glands is to fight infection.
If they are swollen it's usually a good sign of them doing exactly that.

Yes phoned the Doc who (is really great so I am saying this in jest) but acted like a cowboy plumber, sucked through his teeth and said I'd have to see him. lol so yes going there tomorrow.

Blasted bother though as within an hour I am all back to normal and I feel fine but will give the bikini diet a kick start!!!
