I lost about 25 pounds over the last six months, so SWMBO decided I needed to buy some new denim shorts when we were on holiday last month. So, for the first time in ten year the venerable Herald paunch slipped into some 36" waist trousers. All was well, they fit okay, until I had to sit down at the dining table, whereupon things got a bit tight around the package department. Nothing chronic, just the shorts were a bit too tight for comfort. My left nut started throbbing a bit, got squeezed a touch I guess.

This happened a couple of times, until I stopped wearing the shorts.

But, my left nut still throbs mildly on occasion, even a month later. There doesn't appear to be any particular event that triggers it, just random 'achy' sessions in the nut. And no, the particular nut in question doesn't feel particularly sensitive at all.

I had this about ten years ago, remember it well, same reason; tight trousers, and it also lasted a long time but eventually faded. (I'm not in the habit of wearing skin tight denim, never have been)

So, have I damaged/bruised/stressed one of my twin boys? yikes

I wouldn't worry about it too much, just get the other half to pay particular attention to one of the twins for a week, some TLC might help!! wink

Could be something, could be nothing but I'd get the gp to examine you just the same. There are a variety of conditions that can cause your symptoms. Some nasty, better to get the GP to exclude those.

yes probably something minor and nothing to worry about, but there is the small chance it might not be. not worth taking the risk mate.

I'm stuck offshore for another ten days, so I'll go see the GP when I get home if the problem is still there. Better safe than sorry I guess.

Yes, definitely get it seen to, if only for peace of mind.

Gulf of Mexico. We have a medic onboard, but he's a guy.

Up until last crew change we had a girl. That would have been a more fun time to have package problems. biggrin

Yeah, and because she doesn't know how sensitive they are, she can have a really good hard PINCH at your closest friends. A male doctor will at least treat them more gently, I should imagine!

i'm with shadowninja on this one (although i would have thought the female should be gentle too...if not...a quick few swear words will soon tell her hehe ). the sooner you get it looked at the better buddy. as said, chances are it's probably nothing to worry about, but there is a chance it is and it's just not worth the risk. nothing to be embarrassed about mate.
