I'm starting to get a bit worried about my appetite, it is fecking huge, and expensive!

I find I'm hungry all of the time, regardless of what I have eaten previously - porridge etc makes no difference.

When I eat I don't eat a huge amount, and it is quite varied, but an hour later I am gnawing at my desk as I have no scoff left.

Anything I can do to sort it out? Il not doing huge amount of training, 2-3 mile run in AM before breakfast (need to sort that, can't run v fast on empty!) and couple of set of pishups a day.

Well I guess if your not putting on weight then you obviously need it! Try eating more protein rich foods, I eat every couple of hours and am always seemingly hungry but I train everyday so I figure that I need it.

I wouldn't worry unless you are putting on lots of weight or you eat crap junk food.

You probably have a high metabolic rate.

As has been said as long as it's not junk and you're not a heaving fatty then I shouldn't imagine anything's wrong.

Try eating small meals regularly (ideally six small 'meals' a day). This should help regulate your blood sugar and metabolic rate.

Also remember that typically the 'I'm full' enzyme isn't released until half and hour or so after you've finished eating.

agree with the comments so far, if you aren't putting on weight then don't worry about it. just keep an eye on your weight. if you are doing 20 or so miles a week running, while it's far from mega miles, it's considerably more than a lot of people. typically, in the winter at least, i run about 30 miles a week some times, and i eat a hell of a lot more than my mates, yet, i'm not fat at all. just make sure you aren't eating too much fat (but also not too little).

keep an eye on things and see how it goes. i found last year when i was injured for about 5-6 weeks my appetite dropped considerably after 4-5 days of no training.
