Strange Eye Problem
Discussion
The other day I had a problem with my right eye, you know when you look at a bright light and then have the 'echo' left behind for a while in your eyes, well it was like that, but not quite like that, it was like a kaliedoscope fuzzy clear 3 sided border, top bottom and outside, and if I closed my eyes I could still see it, but it was white then. Very similar to the way a face in a film would be pixilated to hide the identity.
anyway, after about an hour or so, it went away and I thought no more of it, but this morning it is back, this time in my left eye, and just the same, the clearish fuzzy pixilated border top, bottom and outside, and the 'fuzz' is sort of moving, very difficult to explain.
Is it nothing, or is it something that I need to go and try and explain to a doctor or eye person?

I posted this problem last year, I went to the opticians and got it checked out, they confirmed it was nothing dire and it happened a few times then hasn't reccured since. Very unsettling I know, probably best to get it checked out, likelihood is it's nothing serious I think.
Along comes the eye people to argue whether you should see an eye doctor or an optician...

Thank guys.
I don't get a headache with it, or anything else, just damn annoying that I can't see properly out of that eye, almost like when you have a film over it and you just want to rub it to make it go away.
And without actually doing anything to it, it goes away on its own after about an hour.
Strange

I'd certainly get it checked out. It does sound very like the kind of aura associated with migraine. However, it could be something else.
I developed optic neuritis as a precursor of MS, and later, I experienced diplopia (double vision). I was told - very firmly - not to rub my eye until I'd been examined. .

Agree with everyone else here. It;s most likely to be a migraine. Often these aren't associated with headaches or any other symptoms.
