where the gustatory cortex is, pretty accurate description if it indeed is a gustatory problem, you don't have any taste problems, no?
you say stabbing pain every 10 minutes, have you got any more details like is it pulsating, is it constant pain then goes away, then comes back 10minutes later. you haven't banged your head at all in the last few days? if you don't mind me asking how old are you do you suffer from high blood pressure or cholesterol? no other symptoms like dizziness?

strange an otherwise healthy person should get those symptoms with no trauma. i do think a trip to the gp is in order. better not risk it mate.Oh can still taste.

haha. gustatory cortex is (i believe, although as far as i'm aware, evidence is sketchy) the sensory cortex for tase, which is why i asked if you had any taste problems.hope your pain goes away. at least you haven't had any neurological symptoms which is always good meaning it's probably not a stroke in the happening
