Gum problem - any advice?
Discussion
In a fit of half-asleep tooth brushing, I sort of nudged my gumline with the head of the brush and the gum around one of my incisors has risen up & folded under itself, leaving more of the tooth exposed than normal.
Not painful but feels a bit 'odd'.
Anyhting I can do to sort this or do I need to try & get an appointment?

No, gums aren't knackered (or didn't think so! No bleeding etc). Perhaps I assumed that the gum had folded over when in fact I've just knocked it up & it's now receding. I can feel a ridge at the top of the tooth that was previously covered if that makes any sense.
Either way, I used to be very good about having checkups but thanks to financial problems over the last few years have let that slip somewhat so will be booking myself in for a checkover this week. Particularly as a large filing has been grumbling a bit last week so probs needs re-doing if it's to be saved. It's already been re-done several times and each time gets a sharp intake of breath mechanic-style.

Please just go get a check up

- I see so many people who say "my gums don't bleed" but actually they're brushing no-where near their gums and they have raging disease*
