I am a proffesional rapist/murderer by trade. Truck driver to those not in the know about the job requirements.

When I am sat driving the truck I sometimes, not all the time, get pins and needles followed by numbness in my meat and two veg. It seems to be more common if I am sat more upright rather than slouching.

Am I just restricting blood flow to the "old boy" or could it be squashing a nerve?

Or is it more serious and my cock is about to fall off after my balls shrivel into little meaty raisins?

Er. Complete guess but wouldn't it mean it's cutting off blood supply to your genitals? Which could mean either blood isn't getting there or blood isn't getting out. If former, then it'll fall off eventually. If latter, varicose veins could form around the testes which will hurt. Best off seeking professional help (no, not a victim prostitute; I mean a GP). And try a soft cushion. Maybe the seat you use is too hard.

P&N and numbness is likely a nerve being compressed, particularly as sitting more upright will tilt your pelvis forward and put your weight more on your groin.

The pudendal nerve is the likely culprit and is a common issue with cycling. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pudendal_nerve

If it's pins and needles THEN numbness, chances are it's just your sitting position squishing a blood vessel. Dooes the pins and needles come back like a horde of fire ants when you stand up again?

Spoke to a medical friend about it as I always find it entertaining to talk about norty bits illnesses with her. Try saying "anus" in a public place with deadpan faces and getting away with it.

Anyway, she agreed that it could be a blood flow problem but also suggested that if the seat is hard and there's a constant vibration from the lorry, it could be affecting the nerve (similar to the type of problems experienced by pneumatic drill operators in their hands). I can't remember the name of the nerve.

Unfortunately nothing that exciting happens wink I just regain feeling. What normally happens, is being an uncouth rude and unmannered lorryist, I (out of habit) rearrange my scrotal position. To the untrained eye, this looks like I am scratching my balls, but magically resisting the urge to sniff my fingers afterwards. After fumbling and pulling on various bits of clothing hoping to get a purchase through my trousers on my scrotum, I realise that I have already got hold of it, have pulled on it for all it's worth (thinking that it is trousers or underwear) and only felt it when I have pulled it hard enough for it to tweak my anus via my peronium. (There we go, I said it wink )

The numb area extends to as far as the hair grows, sorry for anyone who has just eaten. As soon as I have moved position ie slouched or moved my hips forward the feeling returns, along with the pain when realising that when I thought I was pulling on a seam in my trousers, it was in fact a vas deferens(sp) tube. eek
If it is a nerve that I am sat on, I shall try and be aware of changing my seating position before it happens.

No. Not overweight. My BMI says obese, but we know what that does for people who are over 5'6".

I am 6'2" and 14 stone. I am of normal build.

I reckon the next thread will be "I just gave myself a vasectomy" after yesterday.

Says you're just in the "overweight" area in the BBC website. Anyway, just wondered as extra fat areas might have been the issue.

Definitely worthwhile speaking to a GP if only for peace of mind.

agreed, unless perhaps if your scrotum is turning blue of course. may be worth a check when you get your nether numbness! more than likely pudendal nerve.
