Please can people tell me what electric razor to get? Do they have variable length shaves?

Electric.

Not blade.

Do not mention blade shaving.

I want an electric. I want stubble. Like Don Johnson. Or Don King. Or Donkey Kong.

Just do not mention blades.

Thank you!

I have been very happy with one of these for what must be a decade, with only one replacement kit:

Cheers Scott.

And SS, you've reminded of that fking awful and insulting Kwik Fit/razor advert. I'll not forgive you for that.

mechanic: "You see this blade?"
gwat: "Yeah"
mechanic: "It's blunt"
gwat: "What does that mean?!"
mechanic: "It means it's not sharp and so won't shave you well. This lubricating strip isn't the same colour it was when it was new, what do you think that means?"
gwat: "umm... does it mean I'm pregnant?"

Jesus fking Christ, any ming mong that doesn't know when to change a fking blade shouldn't be left unattended near a fking razor in the first place so cock off Gillette and stick your vibrating musical GPS enabled razor up your fking arse.

Edit: thank you Mr E Driver, I had already looked through those prior to posting, hence why I specified in this thread to have no mention of blades since each of those appears to go down that route. I want to know about electric razors and specifically, variable length. In fact, if you didn't notice, only two(at a glance) of those threads specifically deal with electric razors (although they may be mentioned in others)

FETA:cheers Mr Oak, I'd noticed you recommended that on another thread but can't find one new...

FFETA: Sorry Mr E Driver, that sounded well arsey. Wasn't supposed to.

Think i may have found what you are looking for, Babyliss do one for men

7850u-I trim stubble trimmer, 30 different lengths available, from 0.5mm to 15mm, you just set the length according to what you want. Was featured in a tv ad, where he sets hisstubble to 1.5mm, she comes along and sets it to 0.5mm, hope this is what you were looking for

I did notice smile I use a Philishave, the one with the flip up beard trimmer that you stick into a triangular cleaning and charging thingy. It keeps stubble to a nice short length, it's a couple of years old though I guess there is a better more expensive model out now.

eta I think it is like this one

That's what I use, brilliant, I had shied away from electrics as I thought they couldn't come anywhere close to a quick blast with a mach 3 but a demo of this changed my mind, even through three or four days of stubble, then just rinse it under the tap or take it in the shower with you.
