Sleep Apnea confirmed
Discussion
After having a sleep test a couple of weeks ago I had a phone call on Friday from City Hospital B'ham to say I have severe sleep apnea and will need to use CPAP.
The sleep test shows I stop breathing an average of 72 times an hour, hence why I never get up in the morning feeling refreshed, and I'm able to nod off more or less anywhere at anytime.
So when I go for the CPAP machine on Wednesday I expect them to tell me to inform the DVLA and I'll have my dl revoked until its under control.
Happy days 'eh.

My mother has this and didnt have to hand her license in
From what the specialist told me it depends on the severity of it.Due to not getting enough sleep I've become prone to falling asleep @ anytime (including as a driver or passenger), and trying to fight sleep is pointless.
I hope I dont have to lose my licence but I'm preparing myself for that eventuality.
