Gents,

Well, this is now becoming a serious topic, and I will take the operation some time in the summer.

I am in the Liverpool / Manchester area.
So as you generally only get one shot of this reversal, it needs to be done right, by experienced micro surgeon doctors.

I really don't care where to go to get the op. but if some of you guys who have had it done,,, and was a first time success, please tell me where you got it done.

Perhaps I was to eager to go for it in the first place, or maybe it was right at the time.

Costs is very much not even in the equation, do we have an acknowledged leader in UK ?

Good luck!
Had snip at local surgery, £80!
7 years later went to enquire about a reversal (new relationship) £550 with a 25% chance of success!

You need to go in to your Profile settings and tick the box that allows members to contact you via the forums (i.e by email via PH)

Hi All,

OK, changed the profile.

The 'snip' was free, no cost at all.
Then a new relationship blossoms.
Bupa = 150.00 consultation
1800.00 = reversal done

I found Spire Hospital (Bupa Stretton) have 4 neuro surgeons that do this job.
So I got back in touch with my local GP, ( I had spoken to him about this a few months ago) and he said he would send off a referal letter.
He told me that 2 out of the 4 are his favourites, don't know just what that means, but any way.
As soon as the referal letter is sent, I can phone and arrange date for consultation.
Snip reversal can be done as quick as 2 days after that.
I was told, normally arrive in the hospital around 7 am, and if all go's well, then home same day around 7 pm.
If still feeling a bit rough, then stay in overnight at no extra cost.

I regretably have a screaming bundle of snot on the way in August. Your welcome to have that if you want? Say £1750, cash only? Throw in a few quid more and I'll even chuck in the wife. Only one owner and very low mileage.
Ripe nappies...don't forget the ripe nappies...rofl

PS...he's lying about the low mileage, Mrs TVRMP has been halfway round the world...more than once hehe

It don't count if you've flown.
.
ha ha ha, So that just means he has landed there a few times, now't wrong with that,.
Can't say that I haven't landed on a few myself over the years.

Any way, to the topic,,,,,,,,,,how much pain is there, the original snip just cost me a 1 day off work, pretty easy, as I didn't keep it much secret with the 'John Wayne' walk.

The reversal is a whole big operation compared to the initial snip.
The pain, I don't care, Just the outcome (pardon the pun) result that scares me, and any affect it could have on my future.

I have no advice other than to wish you both the very best. At 38 I'm having the snip very soon, the thought of any more sends shivers down my spine. Love them to both to bits, but couldnt cope with any more...

Thank you Ted,
However it was never in the plans for a reversal, but then we all like to hope relationships last for ever , , , , , , , ,

Now time to move on and see if there is life in the old dog still.

Think of the maintenance about 15 years down the line. Don't do it.
