Hi all,

Bet my uncle that I could last a whole month of not drinking tea, coffee or coke - my arguement is that although caffeine is addictive, I am not addicted to it and can prove it for a whole month.

Now although I am not craving tea or coffee I seem to be having withdrawal symptoms - I wasn't a big tea or coffee drinker in the first place (1 or 2 cups per day).

Has anyone who has given up tea or coffee experienced this?

You can have physical and psychological addictions or cravings.

I've stopped drinking alcohol for January and although not "addicted" in the alcoholic sense, I do seem to be craving sugar so have been getting through a big bag of wine gums each week!
