I lay awake last night, then dropped off, then woke up then dropped off then woke up, then dropped off etc etc. This happened at least 10 times. I was counting. Each time I was woken up it was with the room reverberating with a loud rumbling/mooing/snorting sound.

At first I thought I was dreaming of being on a farm - but no, it was my darling husband SNORING, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Mooing? rofl

Anyway, he needs to sort out his snoring. There's probably loose flesh partially blocking the airways. Does he drink a lot?

There's nothing worse than a partner that snores really badly. My ex was that bad that I resorted to sleeping in the spare room. Even with both bedroom doors shut and being further down the landing his snoring would be that loud you could still hear him.

Current partner isn't too bad, more heavy breathing than snoring, though he will wake himself up if he gets too loud.

Sew a tennis ball to the back of his neck pyjamas, so he can't sleep on his back?

hehe not quite an elbow, more just a gentle nudge and he'll turn over. I'm quite amazed at how well trained he has become wink

Thanks for the welcome.

lol. on a serious side there is a ring you can get from boots, that helped for us. Some sort of acupuncture (probably not spelt right!). No needles involved, just pressure points i guess. It didnt solve the problem, but helped. Also you could take it back for a refund if it doesnt work, when we bought it.

I only snore when I've had quite alot to drink and my wife has found that holding my nose works quite successfully. Unfortunately it results in me waking in a panick struggling for breath thinking I'm about to die.
