Straight to the point then, do we need to have a good rest? Say on a Sunday?
I generally work 11/12 hour days and often work Saturdays for 7 hours or so.
I live alone so have to do my chores and also like to go cycling at the weekend.
As you would imagine there isn't much time left to rest and do very little. Should I make time?
Yesterday I didn't go cycling but did wash both cars and bike and do the supermarket shop. Then I felt guilty for not going out on the bike!
Should I be glad of an easy day?
Oh im 40 if that makes any difference.

It seems to be you have a lot of time to rest you just choose not to, if you work 12 hours a day thats 12 off minus travel time, also Saturdays you have 17 hours for your self and then 24 on the Sunday which you choose to do other things. When ever i feel like i have no time for myself i look at it in this way and it makes me realise how much time i take forgranted.
P.S It's 101 Hours per week you have to rest minus travel times and chores. :-D
