Cough

I've had this cough for almost 2 weeks now, its one of those coughs where it goes on for up 16 hours a time, i got cold/flu symptoms aswell
I've seen the doc, he told me it was a chest infection and was told to take 4 anitboitics three times aday,
I'm at the stage now where im not seeing any improvements and I am getting worse(coughing so hard im being sick) last time i saw the doc was Wednesday last week

any one got a clue what's wrong with me?

Only bits of flem, not very often, unless it forces me to be sick, im at the stage now where my chest,stomach,throat and back is so painful i can hardly move

Sounds like me in November. Ended up with excruciating chest pain and hospitalised

Assuming you've finished your course of ABx, has the phlegm improved at all? What colour was it and what colour is it now?

I never finish my course as i have no spleen, and will be taking them for life, what was wrong with you in the end?

I had a viral infection complicated by asthma. The amount of coughing caused a lot of muscular and tissue damage and they were querying whether I had a pulmonary embolism, but neglected to do the right diagnostic tests I've been left with a very slow 2 month recovery and still got to take daily asprin.

Keep hassling your GP.

Had to do a double take there, misread "asprin"......
