Regular ibuprofen (if you can take it) and paracetamol. Keep moving (worst thing you can do with back pain is to stop moving). Don't sit still for long periods and it will always be worse when you get up in the mornings.
Alternate ice packs with warm compresses and avoid heavy lifting or repetitve movements.
