Just book a couple of sessions at Floatworks nr Tower Bridge.
From what I've read it's supposed to be an amazing experience.
Anyone tried this and is it up to the hype?

Done the one at Nirvana Spa. 25 minutes of utter boredom and stinging bits...

I can't imagine why anyone would choose to do that! If I've got the time, I'd rather just slum it on the sofa and read a book.

Hmm, I wonder how much salt you'd have to put in your bathwater to float on top of it?

Except you'll be floating in clean water, not previous customers' urine. yuck

i was chatting to someone about this at the weekend, and we both agreed we'd like to try it purely for the possibility of hallucinations / mindfk.

other than that i can't see the point.

Yep once went to the same floatworks with my ex. If you can easily switch off and chill you'll enjoy it. Otherwise, pretty dull. I'd rather sit in a hot foamy bath and read a book.

Didn't really do much for me really. Glad I tried it once but not something I would bother doing again.
