Which TENS machine?

Misses is due soon and reckons TENS machines are the way to go. Any ideas on which is the best one to get?

Also, is it better to hire one for a few weeks? Any recommendations on places to buy/hire from Welcomed.

I've found TENS machines are great when you stick all the pads to your face and turn it up to the max so you pull some mad expressions. For other purposes, I'm not sure how affective they are.
