Can babies have non-febrile fits

Clearly I am seeing a doctor about this but is it possible for a small baby to have a non febrile related fit? I assume it is. Any info gratefully received before tomorrows appointment

Yes it is. I've known it to happen after a very traumatic delivery where the baby was brain damaged, more prevalent in premature infants. Can happen after an hypoxic-ischemic insult but there's also benign neonatal seizures which they think may have an environmental influence but good outcomes. So many different causes for them.
