Muscle vs Fat Weight
Discussion
This may have done before and I'm sure the answer is No..........but........is there a way of determnining (even vaguely) how much more muscle weighs than fat ?
I ask out of personal interest.....have been exercising a lot more recently and have lost a stone in the last 6 weeks through 5 sessions at the gym every week and a bit more sensible eating but have a hit a brick wall weight wise.
However, I'm figuring that I must have more muscle now.....as an example over the last 6 months I've gone from 50kg on the seated leg press at the gym to 150kg so I figure I must have more/better leg muscles which must weigh more.
Not helped by me using Wii Fat (I won't call it Wii Fit until it has me at ideal ) using a simple weight divided by height calcuation - it still says I'm 2lbs off being the very top of ideal.........
I do feel much better but would be happier if I was that bit lighter.......
