Down to the wood is the only answer to avoid looking like you are trying to cover it up.

Accept it. Keep your hair short. And live with the "less hair = more testosterone = bigger penis" reputation.

Don't get your hair cut and prepare for one of these?

I've been 'thin on top' since my mid-twenties, so finally admitted defeat in 2003 and starting shaving my head to grade 0.

but having a bald patch will have the same effect as these symptoms because you'll look like a complete prat and no female will come within a mile of you.

Man up, princess, this is just the start of something much bigger. hehe

Mine started receding when I was 18, but I put it down to wearing a crash helmet for an hour a day or more.

Now it is 50% gone, and yes, I'd like it all back, as luxuriant as it was when I was 25 years younger, but I'm not overly bothered about it.

Just a thought, but how much would you baldies be prepared to pay if there were a guaranteed way to get it all back on top?

Try to avoid outdoors tasks which involve important thinking.

Your brain's going to be colder.

What's Jimmy White been doing with his. He started thinning a long time ago , I know he's dabbled with various products and even endorsed a few . I see clips of him on " I'm a z lister and he's always got a bandanna on . I assumed he'd gone bald and was trying to cover it , then I noticed a few clips of him with a full head of jet black hair. Looked like it might have been a syrup or some sort of wonder weave but why keep it covered.

To be fair, after a couple of days alone in the house with uninterrupted internet access I've experienced similar.

WIt worked for Homer? Or some variant did.

OP. There are only two options if you want your hair back, and they are expensive.
  1. you could try a drug (some work) but once you're on it you have to stay on it for as long as you want hair. It's not a miracle 'cure'.
  2. Your hairs are genetically designed to fall out, it's science/nature and you can't beat it. But you can trick it. The hairs on the side of your head are genetically predisposed to stay in. So go for a procedure that steals the hair from the back and sides and implant it on top. After several of these operations you will have your own real hair that will not fall out. The downside to this is the fact that obviously the original top side hair will keep disappearing. So you need to get it done periodically.

Bugger, beaten to it, by about 7 hours smile

OP - Give it up. You're going, just like a lot of people are & just like I'm suddenly getting far too many sheet white hairs after having very dark hair all my life. Spend the cash you could otherwise waste on some clippers and stuff you enjoy. I would and will in the fullness of time.
