Haribo Tangfastics and mandibular displacement

Was chomping above-mentioned confection yesterday and felt a twinge on the starboard hinge. It wasn't painful but immediately the bite seemed to change, as if my jaw was about 1mm further forward. This has happened a few times before for no clear reason but has only been temporary. However this is now 24 hours on and hasn't reverted.

I have a dental appointment in a couple of weeks so will bring it up then, but just wondered if anyone can give any information on this oddity, and whether I can expect it to revert. Ta!

No dentists in these days then! It seems to be OK now - some kind of swelling perhaps. Odd. Will see what my dentist says about it.
