Guys
Some advice please, I came off the bike at cartagena last wednesday, I'm a bit bruised and got knocked out, spent the night in hospital. Have visited my GP who is snding me to the fractures clinic, I am also suffering from what feels like a permanent hangover, he says this is normal and will sort itself out in a week or so, does this sound reasonable?
Thanks
Gareth

Yep - sounds about right. I had a nasty rugby "accident" (inverted commas because stamping someone unconscious doesn't "just happen" on the field!) back when I was at college, and after being kept in hopsital overnight and checked for fractures I felt headachy, nauseous and sleepy for about a week, with the symptoms gradually tailing off after that. The docs were emphatic that I shouldn't take aspirin or paracetamol for the headache and also that I should head straight back to hospital if any of the symptoms got worse.
Hope you recover quickly.
