Sitting at my desk after a slightly stressful drive to work and a coffee...

76bpm, I feel pretty relaxed now but I think this is pretty high!!

at a guess as im also sat at a desk 90-100bpm

Checked with hr monitor while sat on sofa - 72

highest i have ever seen is out on my bike at 193.

im only 27... im think im dying

That's less than one beat per second! You could be almost dead if you're not careful.

At least us types with a fast heatbeat when doing nothing know we are still alive (and get to play that fun daily game of 'will I or won't I have a heart attack today?').

84 for some reason, a bit fast. Usually 63 when lying in bed.

Top cyclists can have resting heart rates of 35!! I would feel dead I think.

Highest HR recorded for me was last night, after a badminton match, 187, I thought I was going to die.

I believe about 60 is normal, any more than about 80 and you have issues?

Also, no need to guess, just count your beats whilst looking at your watch for 15 seconds then multiply it by 4!

I felt it staring to go quicker as I started countingbiggrin.

My resting is around 49-51

But I have seen over 200 before when at full effort !!

ooh that's fit- mines just over 60 normally- thought it would be a lot higher so i was quite happy with that!
