Ok, can someone here help settle an argument here?

Should I at the age of 25 still be getting new moles?

I have frigging 100's of them and seem to get about 5-10 new ones a year. They itch like a bd for a week, then, hey presto- new mole!

My partner seems to think I need to see a doctor pronto.

I've always just assumed this is normal!

Get them checked! If it's nothing you and your partner will have peace of mind, if it IS something then you and your partner will have peace of mind knowing you've done something positive about it!!!

I had a small blemish on my ankle for 3 (or so) years and didn't do anything 'til it started to grow and become sore to the touch. I went to the doctor thinking it was just a ganglion and they'd aspirate it - it's been diagnosed, after seeing numerous Consultants as a very rare Clear Cell Sarcoma. I've had it removed and now have 6 weeks of Radiotherapy to look forward to once the wound has healed properly. So, you can never tell and it's always worth checking out....

As has been said before see the doctor for piece of mind.Years ago I had a mole on my chest which grew and changed shape and colour.I never went to the doctor about it but one day I had an ingrowing toenail which was troubling me and whilst he was looking at it the doctor remarked about a mole on my foot.I then showed him the one on my chest and
He was very concerned-it turned out to be a malignant melanoma.i'm fine now but if it wasn't for my doctors chance remark about the mole on my foot I doubt I would be alive now.

Oh dear...maybe not as normal as I was hoping then...

If you haven't already guessed, i've always used the self-help guide of; if it itches, scratch it, if it scabs, pick it and if it hurts, take Ibuprofen.

The last time I went to a doctor, I seem to remeber him telling me I had quinsy and that tonsilitus doesn't cure itself!
