sinus and now a nagging cough

Have had a sinus problem for the past 3 weeks, (I am not a regular sinus sufferer) and now in my 4th week!!! this has gone on to my chest which has resulted in an annoying nagging cough. Especially at night. Been to see the doc/vet and she didn't even sound my chest, just said to me that she has had the same thing for the past 2 weeks, can't do anything about it. She didn't want to give me any anti-biotic in case I get the oink oink flu in the near future. Tried olbas oil (steam) sinutab/sudafed tablets, regular cough linctus.
So, has any one else had this, if so what can I try now?

Go to the pharmacy, and buy a Beconase nasal spray. Sniff it up both sides of your nose twice a day, and in a few days the cough and stuffiness should improve. HTH
