I have to take some tablets and they are supposed to be taken on an empty stomach, but how long does it typically take to empty the stomach after a meal?

Assuming I usually eat at least four hours before bed I would have expected this to give the tablets maximum time to enter the bloodstream during the night on an empty stomach. Unfortunately I always wake up ravenous and have to eat straight away so that's not an option.

Can't quite gather whether you're saying you take the tablet at night or in the morning...? A few hours after eating should be sufficient, I think.

Trying to figure the optimum time. Apparently Omeprozole is at it's most efficient if taken half hour before food. I think I'll try at lunch times and see how it goes. As long as it doesn't have to be after a nights sleep I should be OK.

I take Ranitidine, which looks to be a similar product as yours. I take mine in the morning after waking up and having a tea, so between 06:30 and 07:30 as I may wait until i get to work.

The next I take about 3pm, and I would have eaten between 12 and 1pm.
