Now you can get them on an NHS prescription I am told, and there is plenty of resaerch suggesting they can help.

My sister has COPD at the age of 46 (the resiult of smoking for 30 years)and I thought that this might help and make a suitable Chrimbo pressie too.

This is an excellent piece of kit. We advise all our PT clients to use them and especially our COPD clients. They really do work! They do tend to take a few weeks before you notice any difference but as they only take a few minutes a day to use it is well worth it.

I have just bought one of the stabndard ones for myself as a am a bit 'chesty'. I cannot believe the specialist staff who visit her at home have never heard of them. Loads of resaerch out there it seems suggesting they work.
